In Summation
Now
that you have finished reading and digesting our program please
sit down with your Booster Organization and urge them to take
immediate steps to bring this
positive program to your school and community.
For our program to be as successful as it can be, it
is imperative that we earn the support,
respect and drive of your Boosters.
There
is not a more avid sports fan on earth than I and I still support
my high school and college team, therefore, I
absolutely understand the function of
Booster Organizations, having served at the prep level and on
the Board of Directors at Florida State. I know for sure that
our program is one that every booster can be justly
proud.
I
have put countless hours into developing this program and trust
that you and your boosters will anxiously await the venture that
lies ahead and that you are impressed, even as I have been, with
the FABULOUS ENDORSEMENTS we've received. These words of
wisdom and encouragement are vitally important and will greatly
assist in gaining the support of our sponsors. Each endorser who
has lent "RONNIE" their comment
know all to well about
the dangers of underage drinking and alcohol abuse
by our youth, teenagers and young adults.
"A
Message from RONNIE", is
a win, win, win situation for all concerned
because it gives help and inspiration to every person that is
associated with its implementation and success. Each of our endorsers
are precisely aware of how important this program is and what
a valuable tool we have in our hands to combat the dreadful
dilemma that is so prevalent on the campus of most
high schools and colleges.
This
fundraiser is very different than others that you may have undertaken
because we ARE NOT ASKING
FOR DONATIONS. We ask sponsors to purchase
copies of RONNIE (at the same price
they would pay at giant book stores) for
their own personal use, and by so doing,
Booster Organizations receive the profits rather than these funds
going to wealthy stockholders of giant book stores.
Unlike
other fundraisers, where a planned date and
exact time dictates the beginning and end of an event, ours does
not labor under such restraints or mandatory criteria. Often,
events are scheduled and much work done only to have the event
ruined by bad weather or some other reason beyond the booster?s
control. Our event can be held any number of days as long as it
is completed within the 90 time frame.
I
can assure every booster that my personal success when talking
with potential sponsors is better
than 95 percent. Properly presented, there
is little chance that a potential sponsor will refuse to be involved.
Remember, they have kids and/or grandkids that are exposed to
the same problems that we are committed to do something about.
