    This presentation highlights the pit falls that ultimately cost RONNIE the loss of his life. His abuse of alcohol destroyed him and we are making the best use of his personal misfortune and tragedy to convince others not to follow in his footsteps.

    If I can say or write anything that prevents this tragedy from happening to just one young person, then I will have reached a milestone. However, to accomplish this goal we have to go direct to the heart of the matter, to the young people themselves. We have to interact, socialize and mingle with them on their level. They are not interested in being overloaded with a ton of statistics, but they will connect with a true story of a real person in which they can relate. It is incumbent upon all of us to bring to them a message in which each can personally identify.

    In order to do this, through your boosters we will affiliate with ministers, local community leaders, elected officials, teachers and coaches, principals and school administrators, PTA’s, boosters, civic clubs and other groups of individuals. We will work with all who sincerely care about the education, welfare and future of the young people of their elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges and churches. These interested parties, second only to the parents of the students, have the closest bond with this circle of young men and women. We must call on these groups of individuals and encourage them to become involved as partners in this endeavor.
