All the recipes were kitchen-tested by the JUNIOR SERVICE LEAGUE members and League friends. Each recipe was then evaluated by at least three testers, and its rating was placed in one of four categories on their evaluation scale. Only those recipes receiving the TOP category rating were included in the cookbook.
