Willorene Morrow is National Sales Director for Primerica, a Mother, Grandmother and by all accounts, a really good cook. Perfection has always been her demand, starting first in cosmetology school, then owning and operating an upscale beauty salon, “The Beauty Nook” for 22 years in Reynolds, Georgia. Many customers shared her love of cooking and often exchanged recipes. In 1980, while recuperating from back surgery, she compiled all of these recipes and published her first cookbook, Southern Favorite Recipes, which had sales of over 40,000 copies. Later that year, she made a big decision and went full time with A.L. Williams which became the new corporation, Primerica, now listed on the New York Stock Exchange. During her successful 30-plus year career with Primerica she has collected and taste-tested many more great recipes from clients she has advised financially.
