From a mother’s love and devotion for her son comes this collection of poems, glimpses into the soul of a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Mitchell was talented in creative arts and handy with mechanical repairs, a caring friend who enjoyed helping people who needed him, a loving son who moved back home to take care of his sick mother, who in turn, later took care of him.

Mitchell’s poetry is his journal of life experiences, a range of emotions and the consequences of addiction. He wanted his story to be told so others would know that God can and will help them, no matter what they are going through.
